The following are a list of games that the Virginia Irregulars have attended. Though many of our members travel to scenario games around the country, not all games that our members attend are considered to be "Team Events".

We do apologize, as most of our web pages have not been updated in a long ... long time ...

Clash at the Mason Dixon Line
SplatZone Paintball, Hopewell, Virginia

This was our first role playing scenario game, held at SplatZone Paintball in Hopewell Virginia. Three of our members participated as the Generals for Hopewell and Cruck Enterprises and one participated as the Executive Officer for Cruck Enterprises.

We got addicted fast and decided to attend another Black Cat Production.

Path of Disaster
Ann Arundel Paintball Park, Jessup, Maryland

This was the game that truly created "The Virginia Irregulars". We were asked Friday night at the players party by our General, what the team name was, and someone just popped out Virginia Irregulars.

At this game, we truly got into the "Role Playing" aspect of the game ... at least John "Doc" Davis and K.R. "Trapper" Davis did. They took on the roles of Mr. Smith and Mr. Jones of Cruck Enterprises and proceeded to snooker everyone. Even their own team. Ended up that they were working for Spiro and helped bring the game to fruition.

Since then, we have had several members from outside Virginia join the team. We now have members from Florida, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Return to the Island of Dr. Moreau
Skyline Paintball, Strasburg, Virginia

The island saw several out of state additions to the team. We had two join up for this game from Florida, and had several returnees Pat (from Maryland) and John (from Pennsylvania). We had a difficult time with the scenario, in being able to think up a good "scam" until the very end.

We actually took control and completed a mission within sight of the Allied forces base, with five people and no markers. We held our position for 45 minutes and completed the mission, without firing a single shot. This in part earned our team its first "MVT" (Most Valuable Team) Award.

Doppelgangers: Shadows in the Mirror
The Foxhole Harrisburg, PA

Pat took on everyone by himself and played as the CO, unfortunately no one else from the team was able to go to this one. But since he was the general, we are classifying this as a team event. End product ... he had fun!

The Tennyson Experiment
November 15, 16, & 17, 2002
Predator Paintball, Hillsboro, North Carolina

Cold wet and rainy, but we had fun, as always. Couple more people played with us looking to join the team. Trapper did a really good article on the game AND a newspaper to go along with it.

Return to the Island of Dr. Moreau: The Day of Reckoning
April 26th and 27th, 2003
Skyline Paintball Strasburg, VA

This game was actually written by the two individuals who were to General the game. AT the last minute though, the general for Bloodgrin's clan could not make it and Jason Wong stepped up to the plate to general against TVI's own John "Doc" Davis. Plenty of twists and turns as is usual in a Black Cat game.

Strangers Among Us
September 6th and 7th, 2003
Skyline Paintball Strasburg, VA

Contagion
Date
Skyline Paintball, Strasburg, VA

The Taylorfields vs. The McMamaligases:
The Battle for the Pants
July 4th Weekend, 2004
Professor Lumpy's, Ohio

Plenty of family oriented fun and we all got to christen Professor Lumpy's Paintball Academy. The pappy of the Taylorfield clan finally managed to get that ornery Mamalingas to the alter, where Brother Bob happily hitched our two favorite people (Miss Kitty and Spiro). Bret ran the game, so you can guess that it was confusion city.

The Final Countdown
Date
Skyline Paintball, Strasburg, VA

Poor Trapper ... Trapper was portraying a major character, and he and his "wife" (Kelly of OMHW) were supposed to try to bilk both teams out of their cash and props ... never saw someone work so hard to achieve those goals. Regretfully, everytime he and Kelly thought they had pulled it off, it came crashing down around them. In the end, Kelly had an affair with the enemy general (Booya - OMHW) (Now, if that ain't an ugly picture!), got pregnant, and decided to turn him in to the authorities for the award. A lot of terrific role playing and great fun had by all.

Return to Atlantis
March 2005
Paintball Authority, Powhatan, VA

Members of TVI portrayed living props for the scenario director. Trapper was outstanding as the "Omicron Gamma 3000 Holographic Projection, and kept the Black Cat staff and referees in hysterics and the Generals for both the American and Russian side in confusion. All in all, a typical Black Cat Scenario Production.

Vipers Among the Reeds
April 22 & 23, 2005
Skyline Paintball, Strasburg, VA

Awarded - Most Valuable Team
Most Valuable Player = K.R. "Trapper" Davis

Empire Approaches
June 11 & 12, 2005
Outdoor Adventure, Bowie, MD

Most Valuable Player = K.R. "Trapper" Davis

Trouble Comes to Hazzard
July 30 & 31, 2005
International Amateur Open, Butler Fairgrounds, Butler, PA

The Team functioned as the Scenario Producer's "Live Action Props" for this event, and even got to run the game in the evening. Believe me folks, sitting in the "Big" Chair ain't as easy as Spiro the Master makes it look.
